My reservation

Can I choose my location?

You can choose your pitch when you book. There is a charge for this option. If we are unable to guarantee your choice, we will deduct the cost of the option from the balance of your stay.

Are babies counted in the number of people in the accommodation?

Yes, the maximum capacity of our accommodation includes all participants in the stay, including children and babies.

Are you VACAF approved?

Yes, we are VACAF approved. All requests for bookings with this system must be made by telephone on 02. 97.55.90.43 or by e-mail

How many people can stay on the same pitch?

The maximum number of people on a pitch is 6, including babies.

Can I park on my plot?

Only one vehicle may be parked on the site.

Is there an emptying point for motorhomes?

No, the campsite is not equipped with a drain grate. There is, however, a chemical reel to empty your black water. Motorhomes are therefore allowed to use the shared sanitary facilities.

What is eco-tax and how much does it cost?

The campsite is subject to waste reprocessing charges, and participates in the Plan Camping Durable Bretagne (sustainable camping plan for Brittany). This contribution is due for each person (0.15 €/day/person).

How do I cancel a reservation?

If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, please contact reception by e-mail or telephone.

  • 3 months before the start of your stay : Full refund of deposit
  • + More than 2 months before the start of your stay : 50% refund of deposit
  • – 2 months before the start of your stay : No refund
  • – 15 days before the beginning of the stay : The balance of the stay is due
If you have taken out cancellation insurance and your claim is covered by the general terms and conditions, please report it within five days of the event giving rise to the claim to https://campinglacroixvillieu.claim.meetch.io/travel/fr/signin and provide all the necessary information.

Arrival / Departure

What time can I arrive and what time do I have to leave the pitch or accommodation?

Do I have to pay a deposit? In what way?

A deposit is required for all our rentals, including pitches with private sanitary facilities. To facilitate your arrival, an online security deposit will be requested ten days before the start of your stay via the Swikly platform. If this is not the case, an imprint of the card will be requested on arrival. The deposit is not debited.

Do I need to make an appointment for the inspection?

No. We no longer carry out arrival or departure inventories. Departures before 10am. We come by after your departure and remove the deposit the same day if there is nothing to declare. If this is not the case, we will contact you before starting any procedure.

What to do if you arrive late?

For late arrivals, please notify reception, who will be able to arrange a different arrival time. Please have your vehicle registration number ready. You can reach your rental by car until 10:30 p.m. After this time, access to the campsite is by foot only.

Is it possible to arrange a late check-out on the day of departure?

A “Late Departure” supplement may be added at the time of booking. By subscribing to this option, you’ll be able to enjoy the accommodation until 12pm.

Do I have to clean up when I leave?

You are responsible for cleaning the property. You can subscribe to our cleaning package option when booking (€50 to €180 depending on accommodation). Please note: this package does not include tidying up or washing up, which must be done on departure. You must also take out your household waste.

Aquatic area

Are swimming shorts allowed in the pool?

No, only bathing trunks for men and one- or two-piece swimsuits for women are permitted. Similarly, all clothing covering the arms, shoulders or legs below the knee is forbidden. Monokinis are not permitted.

What are the pool opening times?

In July and August, the pool is open continuously from 10am to 8pm.

I’m a visitor, can I use the aquatic area?

No, our swimming pool is reserved for overnight guests. For obvious safety and liability reasons, the aquatic area is not accessible to visitors, even for a fee.

Services and extras

What are the reception opening hours?

In season: 9am-8pm Out of season: consult the campsite’s Google map.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome at the campsite. Only category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited. A daily supplement will be charged. You’ll need to bring your pet’s health record with you. Dog waste bags are available free of charge on site.

Are barbecues allowed?

Yes, charcoal barbecues are permitted on pitches and in rentals. Only electric barbecues and planchas are permitted.

Can I do my shopping on site?

We don’t have a grocery store on the campsite. A mini-market is 800m from the campsite.

Is there a kids’ club?

In July and August, the kids’ club welcomes all children aged 3 and over, from Sunday to Friday.

How far is the beach?

Camping de la Croix Villieu is 2km from Kerhillio beach. The cycle path passes in front of the campsite and takes you directly to it.

Are bicycles available for hire on site?

Yes, we offer mountain bikes, children’s bikes and electric bikes for hire.
