The village of Crucuno is home to a spectacular dolmen, topped by enormous roof slabs weighing in at around 40 tonnes. This is one of the most imposing dolmens in Quiberon Bay. A little further on is the Crucuno cromlech, known as the “Crucuno Quadrilateral”. This set of 22 upright stones, forming a rectangle 35 m long by 25 m wide, indicated the cardinal points with astonishing accuracy for its time (4000 BC). Let your children discover these sites brimming with history, where imagination and dreams know no bounds! The Tumulus de Rondossec, the Alignements de Sainte-Barbe and du Vieux Moulin are other megalithic monuments well worth a visit.
